Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just beginning to explore faith, we want you to feel welcome at Gloria Dei.

Here’s what you can expect when you join us for worship.

Sunday Worship – 9:00 a.m.

Christian Education – 10:15 a.m.

(Sunday School, Confirmation & Adult Bible Study)

Sunday worship service lasts about 60–75 minutes.

Wednesday Lenten Worship - 6:30 PM service lasts about 45 minutes

We’re just off Highway 371. Parking is available right outside the main entrance, and greeters will help you find your way once inside.

Our building is accessible, and seating is available for those with mobility needs. If you need assistance, just let a greeter know.

Our worship follows a historic Christian pattern that has shaped believers for centuries. Even if it’s new to you, everything is projected on scree and a printed bulletin will guide you through the service.

You don’t need to know when to stand or sit — just follow along or do what feels comfortable.

What Should I Wear?

You’ll see everything from jeans to dress clothes.

Come as you are. You won’t feel out of place.

What About Kids?

Children are welcome in worship.

We believe it’s a blessing for families to worship together. If you need to step out with a little one, you’re free to do so at any time.

Sunday School is offered at 10:15 a.m. for children of various ages.

Will I Be Singled Out?

No.

We won’t ask you to stand up or introduce yourself during the service. If you’d like to connect afterward, we’d love to meet you — but the choice is yours.

What We Believe:

Gloria Dei is part of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).

That means:

•We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and trustworthy Word.

•We teach that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

•We baptize infants and adults.

•We believe Jesus truly gives His body and blood in Holy Communion for the forgiveness of sins.

Our teaching is rooted in historic Lutheran Christianity, grounded in Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions.

A Note About Holy Communion

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper regularly because we believe it is a precious gift from Jesus, in which He gives His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.

Because Communion expresses unity in what we believe and teach, the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod practices what is often called close communion. This means we invite those who share our confession of faith about the Lord’s Supper to receive Communion.

If you are visiting and are unsure whether to receive Communion, we warmly encourage you to speak with the pastor before the service. He would be glad to visit with you and answer any questions.

If you choose not to receive Communion, you are welcome to remain seated in

prayer or come forward with your arms crossed to receive a blessing.
